Rates for services vary depending on the specific project, design choices, and the time involved. Below, you will find general guidelines to help you estimate the approximate cost. I understand the investment you are making to allow me to work with you on your project, and I am always willing to discuss and brainstorm ways for us to collaborate to ensure that your choices align with your budget. Please feel free to contact me to discuss options.  Creativity can apply both to our designs and our budgets!

General Rate Guidelines

Longarm Quilting:

  • To calculate the total square inches in your quilt, multiply the width x height = total square inches

  • General E2E quilting:  .03 per square inch (multiply your total square inches x .03)

  • Dense quilting, specialty fabrics:  begin at .04 per square inch

  • Light quilting with an all-over stipple design:  .025 per square inch

  • Custom quilting starts at .04 per square inch

  • Trimming, squaring, and binding services available upon request for additional charges.

    • Squaring:  $15 per quilt

    • Binding

      • One side​ (customer provided): 12 cents per linear inch

      • Both sides (machine, customer provided): 28 cents per linear inch

    • Trimming:  complimentary with request

  • You are welcome to supply your own batting, or I can supply batting for an additional fee.​​ 

                       Example:  A 40"x60" quilt with general E2E quilting at .03 cents per square                               inch and complimentary trimming would be $72 (40x60=2400 x .03=$72)                     

 

Custom Sewing Projects:

  • Custom projects are generally charged at $35/hr. in addition to the cost of supplies needed.

  • T-shirt quilts and memory quilts are generally charged at $25 per shirt or item of clothing which is all-inclusive of batting, backing, and thread.   Any additional materials such as sashing, pillow forms, or specialty backing, etc. will incur an extra charge.

Payment
Payment is expected upon project completion prior to shipment or at delivery/pick-up.  You will receive an invoice when your project is complete.
